It was 2 huge trucks + 8 men project and EQ was able to provide me with a bargain price offer compared to the other companies(ended up almost twice cheaper in the end then the other quotes). Company took great care while disassembling/ reassembling our furniture and everything was done in a single business day, which was astonishing due to the size of the project. These guys were fabulous from the moment of setting up an appointment and until the very last minute of the move. I usually don’t post reviews but I was deeply impressed by the job they did for us. EQ moved us all the way to Austin, TX from Staten Island, NY. These guys were not the cheapest but rather unique in the service they offered. They do not subcontract any long haulers or any other companies to finish the long distance move. The crew disassembled, delivered and reassembled an entire 3-bedroom house. We use a volume-based calculation for your flat rate, which is already one of the most affordable in the market. We’re always ready to answer your questions if you wish to discuss your fee.
If you wish, we can include our packing services in your flat rate fee. It’s already inclusive of the packing materials and the needed labor. Our movers can also check the volume of your move on-site so that we can bring enough packing supplies.
Your flat rate fee would remain the same even if it took us longer to transport your belongings. We know unforeseen circumstances like heavy traffic and bad weather can happen, but we’re always prepared.
Let us know if you wish to remove or add services to your moving contract, and we will adjust your fee accordingly. Take note that additional services will incur extra costs, which will make your new flat fee higher than the previous one.
