It was 2 huge trucks + 8 men project and EQ was able to provide me with a bargain price offer compared to the other companies(ended up almost twice cheaper in the end then the other quotes). These guys were fabulous from the moment of setting up an appointment and until the very last minute of the move. I usually don’t post reviews but I was deeply impressed by the job they did for us. EQ moved us all the way to Austin, TX from Staten Island, NY. These guys were not the cheapest but rather unique in the service they offered. They do not subcontract any long haulers or any other companies to finish the long distance move. The crew disassembled, delivered and reassembled an entire 3-bedroom house. The cost of your move depends on the home size, complexity, distance, and special requests you include. For a more accurate estimate, call us, and our representative will give you a free quote.
In general, a move within the borough takes a few hours to a full day. It depends on the size of your move, the weather, the distance, and the complexity of your place. We will advise you about the turnaround time and include it in your contract.
We’re fully insured, so feel free to report the damage to us, and we will compensate you accordingly. Remember that we only cover damages incurred by our movers, not pre-existing issues.
As much as possible, try to declutter your home and remove anything that could slow down the movers. Also, please keep pets and children away from the area for safety since our movers will be hauling heavy boxes.
We don’t usually move plants, so it’s best to have them secured and transported separately. Also, we don’t allow pets to be transported in our trucks, even if they are in a crate or cage.
