These guys were fabulous from the moment of setting up an appointment and until the very last minute of the move. I usually don’t post reviews but I was deeply impressed by the job they did for us. EQ moved us all the way to Austin, TX from Staten Island, NY. These guys were not the cheapest but rather unique in the service they offered. They do not subcontract any long haulers or any other companies to finish the long distance move. The crew disassembled, delivered and reassembled an entire 3-bedroom house. Furniture pieces don’t fit inside boxes, so we use protective materials instead. We wrap each furniture piece with cushion wrap, cardboard sheets, plastic wrap,moving blankets, and more. In some cases, we can also make custom crates to ensure the safety of expensive, fragile, and rare furniture. We also cater to packaging requests to ensure that our clients have peace of mind over their belongings.
We recommend packing the contents of your furniture in a separate box for safety reasons. It’s easier and safer to transport an empty piece of furniture than with items inside it. Also, we may have to disassemble the furniture if it’s bulky to fit through your doorways.
